Management
Teneo’s Management solutions address issues such as:
- Providing a map view of the network saves time by quickly pinpointing failed devices.
- A central store of critical device configurations ensures compliance with corporate governance.
- Quantifying how much latency servers, network and clients are contributing to applications transactions allows for informed decisions about infrastructure upgrades.
Infrastructure is the building block for any network and managing it is key to ensuring it is able to deliver the applications that run over it.
Plixer provides visibility into the entire wide area network without deploying probes or agents. Instead Plixer Scrutinizer collects NetFlow data from Cisco routers and End-user response time data from switches. With this data you can know who is using which application, on what link, when it’s being used and what the end-user is experiencing.
SNMPc from Castle Rock will allow the user to manage any device with SNMP including routers, switches and servers. When events occur, alarms can be sent to mobile phones or email addresses ensuring that the helpdesk is the first to know about LAN issues. SNMPc will also provide reports on LAN capacity and errors which will point to over utilised switch ports or where cabling is causing LAN errors. NotificationWorks and PageManager Pro from Atlantis Software modules for SNMPc enable customers to enjoy a greater flexibility in managing alarms and distributing actions to support teams.
Change Tracker from NNT allows you to centrally back up the configuration of network devices, quickly see what configuration changed when something goes wrong and revert back to the last known good state.
Change Tracker integrates with Castle Rock SNMPc and protects the network from any issues that may arise from status changes or configuration problems - one of the main reasons for network problems occurring. Devices can be directly imported from SNMPc maps to Change Tracker and Change Tracker alarms are imported into the SNMPc Event Log. This means that SNMPc map devices can change colour when Change Tracker provides an alert.
