Configuration Management add on for SNMPc

Change Tracker integrates with Castle Rock SNMPc and protects your network from any issues that may arise from status changes or configuration problems - one of the main reasons for network problems occurring. Devices can be directly imported from SNMPc maps to Change Tracker and Change Tracker alarms are imported into the SNMPc Event Log. This means that SNMPc map devices can change colour when Change Tracker provides an alert.

Change Tracker

In the event of any changes Change Tracker will clearly show you what changed, allowing you to quickly revert back to a last known good state.

How does it work?

Change Tracker initially interrogates all key networked devices for configuration and status information. Change Tracker will then store the configurations and regularly poll devices to discover if any aspect of the configuration has been changed.

Change Tracker provides immediate back up of all configuration details for all network devices in the event that configuration is either lost or destroyed.

Any type of network device is supported, regardless of manufacturer, making this a universal solution to preventing loss of service resulting from bad configuration changes.

"If a problem occurs on the network something has changed. Identify what has changed and you have identified the root cause of the problem!"

In the event that a change occurs (this could be intentional but could just as easily be as a result of human error) Change Tracker will capture the change, alert you and store the details for review. Additionally, for Cisco equipment, Change Tracker can upload the last known good configuration to the device.
